Unemployed life!...

As I am still as yet unemployed I seem to be finding all my entertainment in arsing around on the internet. This nearly, pretty much always, results in me internet window shopping, adding clothes to an ever growing wishlist that I can't afford! A habit which has me tormented because I want everything!! I even manage to justify it to myself by adding clothes to the wishlist that I could totally wear to work, if I had a job! It's a vicious cycle! One of the websites I find myself on the most at the moment is Missguided. It has lots of lovely things that I want (need), in particular the biker jacket and midi dress, I think they may have to be purchased with my first pay cheque, and then I'll just have to wait until the next one to be able to actually wear them anywhere!! I could honestly justify this! I love the graffiti shorts too and the fact that emerald is popping up everywhere this season! So if anyone is feeling generous I've given you the website! ツ

But hope is not lost just yet, I have an interview on Thursday and have been applying for everything that has come up in Melbourne in the last week! So fingers crossed I will get something soon, if not for the shopping than at least for my sanity's sake. There are only so many days I can spend alone and un-entertained before I crack and I doubt Conor is willing to give up his job to keep me company!

Oh and for those of you wondering I made this collage on fotor, one of the few photo collage generators that lets you do exactly what you want!

So that is my little rant for now, I haven't forgotten the Great Ocean Road post, it is coming, eventually!

Yes my second post in a day..

Spoiling ye today so I am! Decided that seems as how everyone I spoke to before I left told me the shopping was awful that I would post to say that is sooo not true! Between shops like Cotton on, which is cheap and cheerful, Jeans West, K-Mart, which is like Penneys meets Dunnes (in a good way), Factorie, Sportsgirl, Topshop (my favourite still of course!!) and all the endless boutique and pop up shops I am having to tear myself away from shops to actually keep some money until I have a job!!


So I said I'd put up a photo of the lovely thing I have bought so far, not too much of course and most things pretty cheap!! :)

So the floral top and high waisted shorts are both Cotton On and got them in the sale so the top was only $10 and the shorts $15! The black dress is cotton on too and is what I'm wearing for our girls night tomorrow, it was only $30! The shoes are my most expensive purchase at $96 from Topshop but I mean look at them!! The blouse is Jeans West and looks great with my navy Topshop jeans, think that was $30! The navy polka dot skirt is K-Mart and was $15! The black maxi is super comfy AND has pockets which I love. That's from K-Mart too and was $15 too! The pj's I bought because they are nice and light and v.pretty! I got them from Cotton On Body for $32 for the two of them! So that's all my purchasing done, I think!


But yes now to recommend places to go for shopping in Melbourne! There isn't really a quick answer except everywhere!! There is a Cotton On on nearly every street and in every suburb. Every street in the CBD has boutiques, chain stores and designer stores to look in, and the suburbs have their own too! Chapel Street I have to say has been my favourite place so far! It goes from cheaper stores at the St.Kilda end to Designer and more expensive stores at the South Yarra end! It goes on for ages and honestly is a days shopping in itself!
I have also been told about a large shopping centre called Chadstone Shopping Centre but I think it might be an idea to keep my distance until I actually have an income again! Hmmm!


But yes there is my rant! Do not listen to the people who were here before and reckon the fashion isn't up to scratch, they are clearly mad or blind! That is all!

Hurry up already time!!

Ok, so time is officially dragging!! Now I wish we had booked our flights for a touch earlier.. Say tomorrow! I swear my minutes have adopted a tick-tock sound!!!
I sold my car Saturday last so I am stuck at home unless someone, mostly Conor, feels like coming and getting me, as I live in the sticks! (To translate to anyone who's not Irish I live in the middle of nowhere in the countryside!)I have had a car since I was 18 so never spent too much time sitting around at home.. This is new to me!
I've also had ridiculous amounts of time off from work due to having holidays and time owed to me so I haven't even had that to distract me!! And I finish up in there now on Friday so that'll give me another TEN days before I get to go!
Poor Conor is worse off however, because he hasn't worked since before Christmas! To say he would fly tomorrow is an understatement! So I seized my opportunity and said we should go to Dublin for the day to do some shopping for whatever we still needed to get! Oh sure it sounds practical, but really it wasn't! Realistically I just wanted to go to H&M, Forever 21 and Schuh! Shops, which in my defense we don't have near me and which are on the less expensive side! Always good! He did however put a ban on going to Penneys, he's not able for the crowds and the packed rails!! So instead he saw every inch of Forever 21!


My friend's mocked me for the cardi's but I mean come on it can't be warm ALL the time over there! I love the green top from New Look! Mostly because it's not cropped, like everything else in the shops!! 




So now that my shopping trip is over I'm off to the Giant's Causeway for the weekend with my parents and brother, my sister can't come as she's away in college!! :( Looking forward to it, I always wanted to see it and I'm sure the north will have lots of other stuff to keep us busy until Monday!! Yay! So I'll try get some pictures from that up in my next post!
So that's my ridiculous giving out over.. I know most people would say give up complaining, aren't you going away but it's just not come around quick enough! Ha! Think I need a time machine, might be a neat way to skip all the goodbye's too!! Dreading those!
