Everything's New!

So I got a job!! Delighted! It was originally meant to be a receptionist position for three weeks but because I couldn't do a long term role, which is what they were aiming towards, they have changed me doing administration for the finance department. It's not a difficult job but it's god experience as I'm doing reception cover as well and its a good company to work for.
Funnily it's another company that is involved in migration so I'm getting some valuable info there, especially as the doubts about going home are starting to set in. I know in my previous post I said that I would be happy being home, which is obvious, but I do think that we have a better life here at the moment. We're not sure what to do, we don't want to end up going home and finding ourselves broke and without any hope for getting work. That would not be good. So we need to sit down and sort our heads out, again. How do you decide what is better for you????

Anyway getting a bit deep there! Ha! Our other new thing is our new apartment! I am in love with it!! It's bigger, newer and did I mention that I love it?? We can actually have people around now and not feel like we're all on top of each other! And our kitchen is much bigger too! Oooh and myself and Conor's bathroom is beautiful! So we're all much happier here! It's great! Only bad thing is is that Steve has decided to move out and get his own place. He's probably fed up living with couples and at least this way he can make some friends on his own too. I'm happy for him!

So it's been good being back but we haven't got to do much yet as I was very broke while I wasn't working but we did manage a trip out to Mount Sugarloaf one Monday when Conor had an RDO. We saw Masons Falls out there and then went to the top of Mt Sugarloaf to see the view of the city from there! Was a nice day out! Got to see some work that Conor had done out in that direction too which was cool.

So because we've been quiet for the weeks since we got back I think we're due a few blowout weekends soon! We're having the house warming next weekend, which hopefully won't put is on the neighbours bad side and then it's my birthday in a few weeks so think we're gonna do a pub crawl of all the odd bars in the city. Have to do some research on that beforehand! Homework for a night out, have you ever heard the likes!? But I think one of the girls in work has a fair idea of some good spots so I'll get onto her for info!! Ha! And then two weeks after that is my friend Niamhs birthday which is bound to be a mad one! I'm excited for the next few weeks now!

Myself and Conor are going to go for a little roadtrip tomorrow I think too, might try convince him that we should go to the snow for the day! But we will see. Not sure how far away it is!!! But it could be lots of fun!!

But anyway that is it for now, I'll update you again once the madness of August and September begins!

Amy :) x
